You Pour Into Others, Let Us Pour One For You. Nurses Day 2026 at Plume Cafe.

This International Nurses & Midwives Day, we wanted to do something small for the people who do very, very big work.

So we printed coffee cards with a message we still love:

You Pour Into Others. Let Us Pour One For You.

Simple. Slightly poetic. Very true.

Because nurses and midwives really do pour into others all day. Their time. Their care. Their patience. Their emotional energy. Their ability to keep showing up with heart, even when the day is long and the environment is anything but easy.

So this year, Plume Café partnered with hospitals and healthcare foundations to give a little something back.

Complimentary coffee vouchers were shared with nursing and midwifery teams across Royal Hospital for Women, Liverpool Hospital, and Hurstville Private Hospital.

At Royal Hospital for Women, we worked with the hospital foundation to help make sure the vouchers reached staff across the wider hospital community.

And yes, it was just coffee.

But also, it was not just coffee.

It’s the gift of a pause, a small reset.

There is something really beautiful about a café inside a hospital. We’re not just a place to grab a latte and keep moving. Although, yes, we support that too. It can be the place where someone exhales after a hard morning. Where colleagues check in on each other. Where a nurse gets five quiet minutes before going back upstairs. Where a midwife takes a breath after giving so much of herself to someone else’s big life moment.

That is the kind of hospitality we care about. It’s not excessive. And it’s the opposite of performative.

Just thoughtful, human and comforting. We wanted a gesture that says, “We see you,” without needing to make a whole production out of it.

As always, our activations in healthcare environments are intentionally modest and aligned with the settings we operate in. But we believe meaningful recognition does not need to be extravagant to matter.

To every nurse and midwife who pours into others every single day, this one was for you.

And truly, it was our privilege to pour one back.
